49ers Release LB Deion Jones

The 49ers made the move despite Jones having recently been traded to San Francisco from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for running back Zamir White, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jones, a second-round pick by the Falcons in 2016, made the Pro Bowl in his second season and has 128 regular-season appearances and 91 starts in his career.
