The Washington Commanders have strengthened ties with their legends, hiring Hall of Famers John Riggins and Darrell Green for new roles within the organization.

Meanwhile, Hall of Fame cornerback Darrell Green will focus on community outreach, specifically helping to build support for the new domed stadium planned for the former RFK Stadium site, with the team expected to move in for the 2030 season. Riggins' No. 44 jersey will also be retired this season.
