Commanders Release Harris, Place Jackson on IR

The Washington Commanders have released safety Will Harris and placed linebacker Drake Jackson on injured reserve while adding new safeties Joshuah Bledsoe and Quindell Johnson.

The Commanders also announced the signing of linebacker Boogie Basham on Tuesday. Harris started all nine games he played for Washington last season, recording 38 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. Jackson, a 2022 second-round pick by the 49ers, played in three games for the team. xsportfeed.life

Bledsoe played two seasons with the Patriots after being drafted in the sixth round in 2021, while Johnson entered the league as an undrafted free agent this year.
