Justin Fields a Possible Option for Giants

Justin Fields, traded from the Jets to the Chiefs as a backup for Patrick Mahomes, has been mentioned by multiple reporters as a possibility for the Giants. The team is expected to make a move as soon as Monday, with Jameis Winston's performance influencing their decision. solvita.blog

The Giants may seek someone to serve as Winston's backup or potentially replace him while Dart recovers from knee surgery. Fields' two-year, $40 million contract includes $10 million guaranteed for 2026. With Mahomes performing well, the Chiefs could recoup their 2027 sixth-round pick by unloading the remainder of Fields' 2026 salary.
