Macdonald: Ball Will Find Shaheed

Published September 30, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026 · NBC Sports

Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald believes receiver Rashid Shaheed's offensive production will improve despite his limited stats through three games.

Through three games, Shaheed has just six catches for 53 yards, significantly less than teammate Jaxon Smith-Njigba's 27 catches for 405 yards and six touchdowns. Macdonald defended Shaheed, stating 'the ball will find him' while acknowledging his contributions on special teams with seven punt returns for 67 yards and seven kickoff returns for 190 yards. zeppelin.cool
