Marathe Departs 49ers After 25 Years
Executive VP of football operations Paraag Marathe is leaving the San Francisco 49ers after 25 years with the team to focus on soccer clubs the 49ers own — Leeds United of the Premier League and Rangers FC of the Scottish Premiership. iwanktv.club
Marathe currently serves as the chairman of Leeds United and briefly emerged as a finalist to become Commissioner of MLS two weeks ago before withdrawing his name. He has been a key figure in contract negotiations and salary cap management for the 49ers.

Overraskelsen bekreftet – Chelsea henter ringreven Welbeck
Veteranangriperen Danny Welbeck forlater Brighton etter nær seks år i klubben. 35-åringen har signert en kontrakt med Chelsea som gjelder til 2028.

Welbeck kommer etter sin kanskje beste sesong i Premier League. Veteranen scoret 13 ligamål på 37 kamper for Brighton, hans beste målfangst i den engelske toppdivisjonen.
Han slo gjennom i Manchester United, før han senere spilte for Arsenal og Watford. Totalt står den tidligere England-spissen med 400 kamper i Premier League og 90 mål. Han har 42 landskamper og 16 scoringer for England.
Med overgangen fortsetter Chelsea å hente profiler fra Brighton. Robert Sanchez, Marc Cucurella, Moises Caicedo og João Pedro har alle tatt samme vei de siste årene.
Signeringen markerer samtidig et skifte i Chelseas overgangsstrategi. Under BlueCo-eierne har klubben prioritert unge spillere med utviklingspotensial, mens Xabi Alonso nå i større grad har vendt blikket mot etablerte Premier League-profiler. (NTB)
Evenepoel Wins 4th San Sebastián Title
Despite puncturing early and facing conflicts with race officials, Remco Evenepoel mounted an impressive comeback to win the Clásica de San Sebastián for a record fourth time. The Belgian rider overcame a 36-second deficit on the final climb to surpass Marino Lejarreta's three-decade-old record.
Evenepoel's rivals, including Richard Carapaz and the UAE team, failed to capitalize on his initial troubles. The win comes after his strong second-place finish in the recent Tour de France, further cementing his status as one of cycling's premier riders.
Landon Dickerson says he never considered retiring this offseason
There were reports early in the offseason that Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson was considering retiring after five NFL seasons, but he remains a member of the team and he addressed those reports on Saturday.
Dickerson said that any notion that he was thinking about walking away didn't start with him.
"I’m not sure where you guys got that from," Dickerson said, via Eliot Shorr-Parks of WIP.
Dickerson added that he's "not really" concerned about the cumulative toll his body takes as a result of playing. Dickerson did add, via multiple reporters, that he thinks he returned too quickly after having meniscus surgery last summer and that he has rethought his approach to trying to push through injuries as he has in the past.
