Saints Sign WR Tillman to Practice Squad

The New Orleans Saints have signed former Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman to their practice squad, providing depth while first-round pick Jordyn Tyson is out for at least the first four games.

The Saints made the move after Tillman was released by Cleveland when they set their initial 53-man roster. The 24-year-old had 71 catches for 833 yards and five touchdowns over three seasons with the Browns.

With Tyson on injured reserve and Mason Tipton on the physically unable to perform list, Tillman's experience could be valuable as the Saints prepare for Week 1. The active receiving corps includes Chris Olave, Devaughn Vele, fourth-rounder Bryce Lane and sixth-round pick Barion Brown. noplasticplease.life
