Texans Sign DE Parish

The Houston Texans signed defensive end Derek Parish to their 90-man roster Tuesday, addressing the loss of Dylan Horton to a torn Achilles.

The Texans placed Horton and linebacker Marte Mapu on injured reserve. Parish, a 2023 seventh-round pick by the Jaguars who never played in an NFL game, spent 2023 with Toronto in the CFL and this spring with the UFL's DC Defenders, recording 23 tackles, four tackles for loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble. rocore.sbs
