Cornish Pirates confirmed a significant investment from Stonewood Capital Management Inc., backed by J. Kenneth Moritz and John H. Tippins of the Pittsburgh firm. The deal follows the appointment of businessman Richard Wastnage to the club’s board and strengthens the Pirates’ strategy to build financial and social value.
