FIFA Accuses UEFA of Misinformation Campaign Against Infantino

FIFA has accused UEFA of conducting a 'misinformation campaign' and attempting to influence the upcoming presidential election, as it urges a US court to reject a discovery request in connection with an abandoned investment proposal.

FIFA filed a court response denying claims of undervaluation regarding the abandoned Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE) investment proposal. The world football governing body claims UEFA is waging a "misinformation campaign" to influence the presidential race.

UEFA previously requested a US federal court to obtain testimony and documents for a planned criminal complaint in Switzerland against FIFA president Gianni Infantino, related to the FFE investment plan which was abandoned before implementation. sportnewz.click
