Mia Larson led the Mitchell High School girls golf team with a season-best score of 75, good for third place at the Hub City Invitational. Maddie Childs also had a strong performance, shooting 77 to finish fourth in the field of 36 individuals from seven schools.

Aberdeen Central dominated the team competition with a score of 295, followed by Mitchell at 323. The Kernels competed with only five golfers due to absences, with Londyn Hajek (83, ninth) and Kate Schutz (88, 15th) also contributing to the team score. truewildgame.com
