Morocco Star Saibari Misses France Quarterfinal

Morocco will be without star midfielder Ismail Saibari in Friday's World Cup quarterfinal against France due to an injury he sustained against Canada in the round of 16.

Team coach Mohamed Ouahb confirmed the absence of the 25-year-old attacking midfielder at a pre-match press conference. Saibari, who scored in all three group matches and the decisive penalty against the Netherlands, had to leave the pitch injured during the 3-0 win against Canada.
