Real Madrid have agreed a club-record €135m fee with RB Leipzig for forward Yan Diomandé and are confident of keeping Vinícius Júnior with an improved contract.

Real Madrid have broken their transfer record by agreeing to pay €135m (£115.7m) for 19-year-old forward Yan Diomandé from RB Leipzig. The deal includes an initial €125m plus €10m in add-ons, surpassing the fee paid for Jude Bellingham.

The Spanish club are also in positive talks with Vinícius Júnior, offering an improved contract to ward off Arsenal's interest. Diomande, who starred for Côte d'Ivoire at the World Cup, joined Leipzig from Leganés last summer. liveiplscore.homes
