ESPN predicts the outcome of Auburn basketball's final five games

Auburn basketball is "on the bubble" for the NCAA Tournament following its most recent loss to Mississippi State, the team's fifth-straight.

Ahead of this Saturday's home tilt with the Kentucky Wildcats at Neville Arena, Auburn checks in at No. 27 in ESPN's latest Basketball Power Index, with the nation's No. 43 strength of record. According to the ESPN BPI, Auburn is 5-11 against "quality opponents" and has the nation's fourth-toughest schedule. As it stands, ESPN's Joe Lunardi projects Auburn to grab the No. 10 seed in the South Regional in his latest Bracketology update, paring the Tigers with No. 7 Villanova.
