MSU basketball remains high seed in latest FOX Sports 'bracketology'

Michigan State basketball has been inconsistent as of late, but they still remain in line for a top tier seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, according to Mike DeCourcy of FOX Sports.

DeCourcy released an updated batch of bracketology on Friday, which continued to have the Spartans slated for a top four seed. Michigan State came in as the No. 4 seed in the South Region of DeCourcy's latest bracket projection.

In this projected NCAA Tournament bracket, Michigan State would face No. 13 seed UNC Wilmington in the first round. If they were to win that matchup, they'd move on to play the winner of No. 5 seed Tennessee and No. 12 seed Yale in the second round.

Michigan State picked up a blowout win over UCLA earlier this week but before that had lost three of their last four games, which has seen them drop a seed line or two in many bracket projections. The Spartans are 21-5 overall and 11-4 in Big Ten play this year, with a critical home game against Ohio State coming up on Sunday.
