Manchester City and Newcastle have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s huge match

Manchester City and Newcastle have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s massive Premier League fixture at the Etihad Stadium. Tonight’s match is a big opportunity for Pep Guardiola’s side to pile on the pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal. A win for City would see them move within two points of Mikel Arteta’s side who sit on top of the Premier League. Tonight’s match will be better no stroll for City. Newcastle are a quality side on their day, despite their poor record at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City enter tonight’s match with only three players unavailable for selection due to injury. Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic and Jeremy Doku are all ruled out of tonight’s match. However, Mateo Kovacic has recently resumed training and Doku is seemingly edging closer to a return after the injury he sustained against Galatasaray.

Savinho is available for tonight’s match after recovering from the injury which has sidelined him for the past six weeks. Erling Haaland is also fit to play against Newcastle. Manchester City’s top-scorer was substituted at halftime of City’s 3-nil win over Fulham as a precaution.

Here are the starting lineups for tonight’s match.
