No. 15 Baylor sends senior out right in bounce back win

WACO, Texas (FOX 44) — A grateful Baylor Women’s Basketball took to the court at the Foster Pavilion hoping to send the four seniors out in style and the Bears did just that, bouncing back with a 74-60 win over Arizona on Saturday night.

Despite it being senior night, the star sophomore showed out once again with Taliah Scott leading the way in scoring turning in 22 points in 31 minutes.

Darianna Littlepage-Buggs posted 10 points and eight rebounds while Bella Fontleroy, Kiersten Johnson and Jana Van Gytenbeek each added six points.

Yuting Deng dropped eight points all in the first half to lead the scorers off the bench.

Baylor improves to 12-4 on the season and gears up for the regular season home finale against Kansas State on Monday, February 23rd at 6:00 p.m.
