A former Georgia Bulldogs running back is still hanging around in the NFL. Former Georgia back Kendall Milton has re-signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on a one-year deal, according to Pro Football Talk.
Milton has spent the last two seasons on the Bengals' practice squads. He has appeared in three games and has taken 10 offensive snaps, all with the Bengals.
His started in the league with the Philadelphia Eagles, a team with many Georgia Bulldogs. He signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2024. Unfortunately, he didn't make their final roster, being waived on Aug. 27, 2024. Ever since then, he's been with the Cincinnati Bengals, signing to their practice squad on Aug. 29, 2024.
Before his NFL career, Milton established himself as another great Georgia running back under Kirby Smart. Through his four-year tenure at Georgia, he had 1,839 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns on 297 carries in 41 career games. He helped Georgia win back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022.
In 2023, he formed a great one-two punch with Daijun Edwards, with both of them racking up over 700 yards and 10 touchdowns each. Milton closed out his Georgia tenure winning the 2023 Orange Bowl MVP with 104 rushing yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.
The Bengals also have one of Milton's teammates at Georgia: offensive tackle Amarius Mims. They drafted him with the No. 18 pick of the 2024 NFL draft, and Mims has been a mainstay for them on the offensive line despite concerns about his durability coming out of Georgia. Milton was also teammates with Bengals offensive lineman Dylan Fairchild, who was selected in the third-round of the 2025 NFL draft.
