“The mentality is top” – Wesley Fofana reveals key difference between Rosenior and Maresca
Wesley Fofana believes Chelsea are working with a top mentality under Liam Rosenior as he explained the differences from Enzo Maresca.

Rosenior arrived from Strasbourg at the start of January, and signed a six and a half year contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 41-year-old has overseen a good start, and has won eight of his 11 games, with Chelsea sat fifth in the Premier League.
Wesley Fofana on Chelsea mentality under Liam Rosenior
Chelsea certainly seem to play with more intensity, and that is particularly noticeable when the Blues are attacking.
From a defensive standpoint the Blues have only managed three clean sheets since Rosenior arrived, but the majority of the goals conceded have been from individual errors.

Fofana has been a key part of Chelsea’s defence this season, and he’s spoken on what’s changed since Rosenior arrived.
“We are working well and the mentality is top because the manager comes with a new mentality – a little bit more aggressive when we’ve got the ball,” he told Chelsea’s website.
“The team understands that and we’re working well, we’re in a good way for the rest of the season.
“It’s a little bit more direct, the tempo is a little bit more high. Without the ball as well, we try to put a lot of intensity into it to recover the ball quickly.”
Levi Colwill could return this season
Whilst Fofana appears to have put his injury issues behind him, there’s hope Levi Colwill could play before the end of the season.

Colwill suffered an ACL injury after the Club World Cup, but is believed to be progressing well with his recovery.
Rosenior himself stated he was “hopeful” Colwill would play this season, and whilst that remains to be seen, one thing Chelsea won’t do is rush him back.
