Trae Young Nears Wizards Debut, Anthony Davis Still Recovering

Trae Young is getting closer to his Washington Wizards debut after an MCL sprain and thigh bruise, while Anthony Davis remains out as the team evaluates his hand injury recovery.

The Wizards announced that 27‑year‑old guard Trae Young is ramping up basketball activities as he recovers from an MCL sprain and a thigh bruise, and will be evaluated next week before making his debut.

Meanwhile, 32‑year‑old forward Anthony Davis, who last played on Jan. 8, is still rehabbing ligament damage in his hand and will be reevaluated in two weeks, coach Brian Keefe said the team will follow the process.
