Simba SC climbed to fourth place in the NBC Tanzanian Premier League standings after the win on Sunday. Selemani Mwalimu broke the deadlock in the 19th minute before De Reuck doubled the lead from the penalty spot just before halftime.
The victory gives Simba 22 points from nine matches, with seven games in hand over league leaders JKT Tanzania. De Reuck, who has now scored three goals in 18 appearances since joining from Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2025, is reportedly close to signing a new contract with the club.
