Hull KR Defeat Brisbane to Win World Club Challenge

Hull KR have defeated Brisbane Broncos 30-24 in the World Club Challenge, holding off a ferocious second-half fightback to secure the win.

The reigning Super League champions dominated the opening half, racing to a 30-4 lead through tries from Tom Amone, Elliot Minchella, Joe Burgess, Oliver Gildart, and Peta Hiku. However, the Broncos mounted a late comeback, scoring four unanswered tries in the second half to narrow the gap to six points.

Despite the pressure, Hull KR held firm to become the sixth English club to win the competition since 1987. This victory means the Robins now hold all four major titles, a feat not achieved since St Helens in 2006-07.
