Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Shokalook developed his soccer skills through extensive travel to Pittsburgh and Cleveland for practices during his youth. After excelling at Akron with 23 goals in 35 appearances, he was selected 35th overall by Chicago Fire in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft.
In his second season with the club's reserves, Shokalook scored a league-high 20 goals and was named an MVP finalist before earning his first MLS debut and ultimately signing a new contract that includes options for 2027 and 2028.
