Derek Jones, who worked with defensive coordinator Jim Knowles at Duke, replaces Michael Hunter who left for the Rams. Jones brings over two decades of coaching experience and familiarity with the SEC after playing at Ole Miss.
The Volunteers have significantly rebuilt their cornerback room this offseason, adding four new cornerbacks through the transfer portal. Tennessee's spring practice begins soon with the orange and white game scheduled for April 11th.
