Aaron Bradshaw injury update. Leaves Memphis basketball game, then returns

Memphis basketball forward Aaron Bradshaw left the team’s Feb. 19 game at South Florida with an apparent left arm injury.

Bradshaw, who played only six minutes in the first half due to foul trouble, was whistled for his third foul just 14 seconds into the second half.

On the next play, the former Kentucky and Ohio State player stumbled trying to close out on a 3-point shooter. He hit the deck hard and stayed down for more than a minute. He grimaced and appeared to be in intense pain.

Tigers medical personnel tended to Bradshaw, eventually helping him up and immediately taking him to the locker room, supporting his left arm.

Bradshaw, who missed time earlier this season with a knee and ankle injury, returned to the game a short time later.

Memphis (12-13, 7-5 American Conference) was trailing first-place South Florida (18-8, 10-3) 47-31 at halftime.

The Tigers have lost back-to-back games. They entered the game against the Bulls in fourth place in the American standings.
