Bologna have set their sights on Milan full-back Pervis Estupiñán as they look to bolster their defensive options ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Calciomercato, the Ecuadorian defender is widely expected to leave the Rossoneri at the end of the season. Despite a challenging stint in Milan, Bologna are convinced that their tactical setup—specifically their back four system—is perfectly suited to rediscover the player’s best form and bring out the attacking qualities he displayed earlier in his career.
The Rossoblù are reportedly exploring a deal structured as an initial loan with an option to buy. This formula would allow the Emilian club to evaluate Estupiñán’s impact within their system before committing to a permanent transfer. As Milan prepare for a squad reshuffle, Bologna are positioning themselves at the front of the queue to offer the former Brighton man a fresh start in Serie A.
