Audi Crooks goes off for 41 points and 13 rebounds in regular season finale: 'This was probably my best game this year'

Audi Crooks was unstoppable in Iowa State's 93–79 victory over Kansas State on Sunday. Crooks scored 41 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in just 30 minutes on the court, helping the Cyclones break a two-game losing streak. Crooks' fifth 40-point game tied her with a former Baylor Lady Bear and current Atlanta Dream center for the most 40-point games in Big 12 history.

After the win, Crooks told the Cyclone Radio Network it was the best game she has played.

“I think this was probably my best game this year as far as just looking across the board, but I was excited about those free throws,” Crooks said.

Crooks was a perfect 9-for-9 from the line against the Wildcats and is averaging 72.8% from the free-throw line this season. The junior center ranks second in scoring, averaging 25.1 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 64.3% from the field.

After Sunday's win, 22-8 Iowa State will receive a first-round bye as the No. 7 seed in the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City. The Cyclones finished 10-8 in Big 12 regular season play.

The 2026 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will begin Wednesday, March 4, with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, March 8. The championship game will be moved to Monday if BYU advances to the final.
