Former Alabama star reportedly signs two-way deal with NBA team

Former Alabama star guard Chris Youngblood has officially signed a two-way NBA contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, per ESPN's Shams Charania.

Undrafted out of Alabama, Youngblood signed a two-way NBA deal from the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this season following an impressive preseason. The talented guard has been nothing short of elite during his time with the OKC Blue, while Youngblood also saw action with the Thunder this season on a two-way deal, appearing in 32 games.

Youngblood now finds himself with another shot to compete in the NBA, as the former Crimson Tide star could potentially begin to thrive in Portland.

Youngblood was nothing short of elite throughout his one and only season in Tuscaloosa. The talented sharpshooter played a massive role for Alabama a year ago, as Youngblood is an experienced playmaker that will add excellent scoring depth to an extremely young Trail Blazers team.

Youngblood will now look to impress once again in the NBA, as the Crimson Tide legend will now turn his full attention towards suiting up with Portland in the near future.
