Oklahoma Wins Series Despite Gonzaga Game 3 Win
No. 13 Oklahoma secured a 2-1 series victory over Gonzaga despite dropping Sunday's finale. The Sooners won 14-4 in the opener and 11-1 in Game 2, making Sunday's 6-1 loss of little consequence in the series outcome.
Oklahoma's Karsten Sweum pitched effectively, allowing just one run on three hits with seven strikeouts. Brendan Brock's solo homer in the sixth accounted for Oklahoma's lone run. Gonzaga broke the game open with five runs in the eighth inning, but the victory came too late to change the series result.

Kristoffer Ventura also played but missed the cut midway and did not compete in the final two rounds. Viktor Hovland was absent, but is expected to return to play in Orlando next week.
