The Toronto Blue Jays face the Detroit Tigers in spring training today. Manager John Schneider also addressed Trey Yesavage's workload for the season.

The Blue Jays take the field against the Tigers with a lineup featuring Jonatan Clase, Daulton Varsho, and Javier Baez. Starter Grant Rogers is set to pitch for Toronto.

Regarding the pitching staff, John Schneider confirmed that Trey Yesavage will be ramped up deliberately at the MLB level rather than in Triple-A. The team is prepared to manage Yesavage's innings, likely limiting him to 3-4 innings to start the season.
