Bengals Skip Tag on Trey Hendrickson

The Cincinnati Bengals have decided not to apply the franchise tag to star defensive end Trey Hendrickson, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Hendrickson missed most of the 2025 season with an injury and was a subject of trade rumors. Despite a career-high 17 sacks in 2024, the Bengals declined to extend him last year, preferring to move on rather than meet his contract demands.

The four-time Pro Bowler has recorded 81 sacks over his career and is now set to enter free agency in his tenth season.
