Doohan Reveived Death Threats Before Alpine F1 Drop

Jack Doohan has revealed he received death threats and encountered armed men before being dropped by Alpine's F1 team.

Jack Doohan disclosed in the latest Netflix documentary "Drive to Survive" that he received serious death threats via email before losing his Alpine F1 drive after the Miami Grand Prix. The Australian driver said he received six to seven emails threatening violence if he remained in the car.

Doohan also described an encounter with three armed men during that period, requiring police intervention. He was replaced by Franco Colapinto after Miami and is now a reserve driver for Haas.
