MBA Wins First Predators Cup Since 2021

Montgomery Bell Academy (MBA) secured the 2026 Predators Cup hockey championship on March 4, defeating Nolensville to end a five-year wait for the title.

Senior captain Matthew Moore led the charge as MBA defeated Nolensville twice to claim the GNASH Predators Cup trophy. The victory marked the school's first championship since 2021, culminating in a 3-0 win in the decisive game.

Despite a narrow 2-1 loss in the first round, MBA rallied through the elimination bracket. Freshman Conner Mazzoni was named the Mitchell Mielnik MVP, reflecting the team's resilience and the leadership of its senior class.
