Pickens Strikes Out 15 as Tennessee Defeats Appalachian State

The Lady Vols (19-0) remained undefeated thanks to Pickens' complete game performance. The right-handed pitcher threw 124 pitches, allowing just two hits and two runs while striking out 15 batters. Tennessee's offense was led by Ella Dodge, who hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning, finishing with four RBIs.

Tennessee totaled nine hits against the Mountaineers, including two doubles, one triple and one home run. The Lady Vols recorded four two-out RBIs and left seven runners on base. Tennessee will return to action on Tuesday against Belmont at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium at 5 p.m. EST on SEC Network+.
