Super-G in Garmisch cancelled due to fog

The World Cup Super-G race in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was cancelled due to bad weather and poor visibility, forcing organizers to call off the event after a one-hour delay.

The cancellation came after Adrian Smiseth Sejersted reported seeing only half the course due to thick fog, suggesting a shortened track might have been necessary.

Meanwhile, Marco Odermatt secured his 54th World Cup victory the previous day in the downhill, tying him with alpine legend Hermann Maier for third place on the all-time wins list.
