Jaguars Target Georgia DT Christen Miller in Draft

Jacksonville’s 2025 season finished with the league’s top run defense, but the team still lacks depth and a consistent pass‑rush presence on the interior line. Pro Football Focus analyst Ryan Smith says the ideal pick would be a defensive tackle who can plug gaps and pressure the quarterback.

Miller, a 6‑ft‑4, 310‑lb Georgia stalwart, posted a 90.2 PFF run‑defense grade in 2025 and an 11.3 pass‑rush win rate. Over three seasons he has logged 1,031 snaps, 38 pressures and one sack, making him one of the highest‑graded run defenders at his position. Ranked fifth on Mel Kiper’s board, he is projected to go in the latter part of the first round.
