RFU to Confirm Radical English Rugby Revamp

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) is finalizing a significant overhaul of English rugby's structure. The Premiership will separate from the rest of the rugby pyramid, marking a fundamental change to the current system.

As part of the restructuring, promotion and relegation will be abolished, ending a long-standing tradition in English rugby. The changes are expected to be formally confirmed by the RFU in the near future.
