Sharks End Five-Game Winless Streak with 5-4 Victory over Oilers

The San Jose Sharks snapped a five-game winless streak with a 5-4 win over the Edmonton Oilers, thanks to a late goal by Shakir Mukhamadullin.

The Sharks ended a five-game winless streak by defeating the Oilers 5-4 on Saturday night. Shakir Mukhamadullin broke a tie midway through the third period with a slap shot from the point, giving San Jose its first victory since Jan. 27.

Macklin Celebrini, Michael Misa, Barclay Goodrow and Alexander Wennberg also scored for San Jose. Edmonton’s Leon Draisaitl, Evan Bouchard, Trent Frederic and Jake Walman tallied goals, while Connor McDavid added three assists for a season‑long 103 points. Yaroslav Askarov made 20 saves for the Sharks, and Connor Ingram stopped 28 for Edmonton.
